What to do in an Emergency:

Major incident (with risk to life): Ring 999

If you have to evacuate your house and it is safe to do so please turn off electricity, gas and water at main stop valves/switches.

Concerned about a neighbour? (Eg:jf they are elderly or in ill health)

Please check up on them and if in doubt seek help by .ringing the appropriate emergency number.

IN THE EVENT OF EVACUATION:

Emergency Rest Centre: Stansfield Village Hall.

Ways to stay in touch: as well as BBC TV, Radio Suffolk 95.5 and 104.6FM

Medical: in an emergency ring 999 Ring 111 for non-emergency health concerns.

Select Optionl: physical health; Option 2: mental health issues.

Defibrillator: located at Stansfield Village Hall C010 8LW. Ring 999 to obtain help and to get the access code, then: 01284 277209 for volunteer assistance (VETS)

Power Cut: ring 105 (UK Power Network 24 hours.

Flooding linked to water or sewerage network: 03457 145145 Anglian Water

Water Leak: 0800 771881 Anglian Water (24 hours a day)

Police: ring 999
