Parish Council

All councillors are dedicated to full and open representation of parishoners’ views in a spirit of friendliness and harmony in our part of this beautiful historic countryside.

Meetings are usually held in January, March, May and September in Stansfield Village Hall at 7pm. Additional meetings may be held to cover specific issues and topics. Please check this website and/or the village noticeboard to confirm dates and times and to see the published agenda.

Near the start of each parish council meeting there will be a public session.  This is an opportunity for members of the public to speak to councillors about items on the agenda.  Members of the public may stay and observe the rest of the meeting but are not allowed to address the Council.
